A sensory garden was created to bring the outdoors in and in aid of “National plant a flower day”.

As soon as the children saw this activity, their smiles bloomed. The garden included sensory textures such as green noodles to imitate grass, soil, dried roses / petals and fresh tulips . The children had a great time exploring and investigating the flowers. Bluebells had the opportunity to plant their flower into a decorated flower pot. They used the spoons to scoop the soil and pour it into the pots. Once they accomplished this and built their foundation, they then picked up their chosen fresh tulip and placed it into the pot.
