Nursery Practitioner - Sunflowers

My name is Nikita. I grew up in London where I am proud of being raised in a diverse city, privileged to be given opportunities to try different things and show interest in exploring the world.

I studied at North Hertfordshire College and gained a level two childcare qualification with experience at HeadStart Day Nursery. I was then offered a level three early years and standard diploma through an apprenticeship. The reason why I studied Early Years is because I take pleasure in supporting, caring and encouraging children's education through extending children’s learning. In addition to providing stimulating and challenging activities.

I would like to gain an BA Early Childhood qualification as it will open a range of educational career path’s long term. Providing me with the skills needed to progress further in management, child specialist or a teacher. Using all the knowledge and skills that I will hopefully gain at Ridgmont Road, encouraging me to reflect on my own performance and in fact, shadow a range of practitioners to ensure I become an outstanding early years teacher.
