Nursery Practitioner

My name is Sophia and I have always had a liking towards working with children, throughout my younger years I would often look after and babysit my toddler cousins and relatives which ignited my passion for teaching and supporting the development of young children. My favourite type of play with children is messy play as I like to see how children react to different textures and using a range of different tools as well.

I enjoy baking and cooking in my spare time and am always looking for new recipes to try, I also enjoy looking at lots of messy play ideas that I can adapt and use with children. I do enjoy going out and going to many restaurants and shopping centres. I have three younger brothers in my family with me being the oldest and my youngest brother being diagnosed with mild autism.

I am working within the preschool room at Money Puzzle and enjoy working with this age group as I am able to converse with them on a more advanced level.

Qualifications, Skills &Experience:

I do hold a level 2 childcare qualification plus a level and a degree in Early Years Education. I have been working in Nurseries in both East London and Hemel Hempstead giving me around 2 and a half years of childcare experience.

I do hold a valid First Aid Certificate for 3 hears in total.
